Print Design Process

For print designs, we have you covered. My Graphic Garden has a seamless print design process that will ensure your print designs are print ready in no time.

In conjunction with the lead designer, the customer will play an active role in the design process. Your contribution is vital, and your industry experience and business knowledge along with your styling preferences will be incorporated into your final design.

The designer will build upon your ideas, adding their industry marketing and design experience coupled with creativity, and the result will be professional, striking print media.

 

Getting Started

 

  1. Customer pays design deposit (50%) and expresses agreeance to all Terms and Conditions.

  2. Customer will then be sent a design brief and information; with business, styling, and marketing questions. The answer to this brief allow the designer to quickly ascertain styling requirements.

From this point forward, your designer will handle all of the design aspects of your project, and the design process will begin.

During the process, you will be asked for constant feedback. By working directly and openly with the designer at all times, the design process will be most successful.

The Print / Stationery Design Process


  1. You will be presented with a round of up to two (if necessary) initial design concepts.

Design Refinement

This round of final revisions is to make final adjustments until your design is 'just right'. Final adjustments may include:

  • adding minor details to graphics
  • tidying up the overall composition of the imagery
  • adjusting capitolisation of fonts and spacing between words and letters
  • changing the balance of colour
  • overall Polishing of the image

1 final refinement rounds is included in the design process.

Design Finalisation


  • Your final design will be put together in an electronic format for you to proof. At this point you will "sign off" on your design.
  • A final invoice will be issued for the balance + any additional charges.
  • After payment receipt, you will be sent your design in the required formats for print. A limit on formats may apply.
 

Design Upgrades

Extra concepts or design revisions $80 per hour
Extra formats or sizing requirements $20 per file
Delivery of files on CD via registered post $35 per CD
